Title: Raspberry PI Model
Post by: Terry Ruddell on August 03, 2021, 08:08:20 AM
What is the recommended Raspberry PI model required to run Advanced HMI?

I will need it to communicate to a SmartTile PLC using Modbus TCP/IP Ethernet connection.

I expect to use about 100 PLC tags and will have approximately 10 fairly simple screens displays with mostly text, light indicators and images. I would also like to play 8 different 5 second MP4 video files.

Willing to hire some help.

Current Pi's have a minimum of 2gb or RAM on board, which is double what was available when people started running AHMI on the Pi, so I'd say any Pi 4 will do the trick.
