Some more info. I ended up plugging it into the serial Port. This 5-05 system Ethernet Port has been an issue for a few years now. A new processor didn't help, Allen Bradley Engineer couldn't find an issue. It works with a few other 5-05 and a server - no problem. So, thanks for the help. If I hook up & run Wireshark, how do I capture a few minutes of data with it?

More info. I installed the newest one this morning. I created both 2 Digital displays. One N7:71, the other F9:15. I now don't get any errors, but they both read 0 (zero). I can ping the PLC from that laptop. I can see values in both of them from the PLC end.

trying to hook up and get 6 floating points values and trend them. I started out using an old one I already had working, then just change what I needed  to. That didn't work. So, this morning, I downloaded the newest one & tried just one Value, N7:61 , instead of floating point. Still the same issue. I searched and found one where you wanted to see the debug log. But, I can't find where it is enabled. Attached is where it dies in VB.

g:\_Filename.csv   didn't work
g:\Filename.csv does

Thanks very very much for all your help. I think we got it. It isn't appending the filename to the previous one which was getting really big. I'm getting header Names now.

OK. I started over. I now have the latest of everything. (see Attachment). It doesn't have the column headers ( They are blank). I won't know until morning, if the filename is correct. Thanks for all the help.

Thanks Godra. That part is working, As we try this, we found that the filename it creates at midnight, is appending to the previous nights. (See attachment).
Also, not a big deal, but the header names it creates, is coming from the PLC Address.

I get an error list about duplicate names. Do, I need to remove old BasicDataLoggers first? See my errors. I don't get that error if I remove one I added.

Thanks for the great updates. Using v3.99y Beta 36, I just downloaded.
I have 2 questions.
If I create 1 address for 1 BasicDataLogger2G, Header has a name. If I create with 2 Addresses, Headers leave it Blank, Date & Time OK.

Binary True/False, I don't see the option to go from True/False to 0/1

I don't know. It took me 6 Minutes to get help and get it fixed. Half of that was finding the file, deleting it and starting.
