I am trying to use AdvancedHMI in C# 2012 express.can anyone suggest me how to use this VB solution in an C# project?
As my 1st attempt i tried to convert the graphic controls (tank , pipe etc) into dll by making a class library project and building it , but it gave me too many errors , i did referenced all the dlls available inside the project
My 2nd attempt was to add a C# project inside AdvancedHMI VB solution. I added reference to the two projects and  referenced both dlls kept in support folders. I brought me communication controls but graphics controls are missing.
Pls take a look at the attached snap.
I am also wondering how this guy has done it with C# 2010 Express ??

Are you using AdvancedHMI with c# express ? i have tried to use it with C# 2012 express which has multi language support inside a solution . protocol communication controls are showing up but graphic controls have disappeared. can you drop me a line to fix it ? Pls take a look at the attached snap. Thanks.

Hi, i am in quest for the same and have had partial success with it. Technically saying you a class library of all drivers and controls is made and compiled , it should create dll which could be used with any .net language c++ / c# / vb. Unfortunately i tried it in VS c# express 2010 and did not work out.
I have realized that VS express 2012 allows to create multi language project so you can open the solution of advanced hmi vb project , add a c# project to it , add reference to vb projects in you c# project , also add reference to two dll kept in support folderS , build.
This should add controls to your form.
Problem with this approach - i am getting the driver controls in my toolbox but graphic controls ie tank , pipe , valves etc are not showing up yet its good enough for you i think ..

Support Questions / advancedHMI for C# express

Hi, i am a c sharp express 2010 user and wanted to make AdvancedHMI dll so that i could use them in my c sharp project. i created a class library project in vb express 2010 , added all vb files for control (from AdvancedHMI control folder) and added reference to MfgControl.AdvancedHMI.Controls.dll and MfgControl.AdvancedHMI.Drivers.dll and then added reference to all the dlls kept in opc folder too and did save and build but no dlls were created and over 102 errors were raised.
Please drop me a word.
Thanks
