Windows CE (.NET compact framework) is not support by AdvancedHMI because the software uses a lot of advanced functionality in the .NET class libraries that is not available in the compact framework. At one time there was some limited support for it, but when Microsoft left an uncertain future for the compact framework and the cost gap between a full panel PC with Windows 7 versus a Windows CE panel had closed, I decided it was a better investment of resources to continue to grow the full framework version.
