Trouble with selector switches
« on: August 08, 2013, 11:02:15 PM »
Hello,
First, thanks for a great hmi solution for AB.

I have a problem where sometimes the on screen maintained selector position inverts or gets out of sync with the plc data tables. It did this most recently with the emulator. But the best i recall i saw this before with a physical processor also. I am using df1 > com0com > RS emulate 500 @ 19200 . Also I might have a busy screen (?? I guess) It has 16 pilots, 11 selectors, 5 pbs, and 8 numeric displays. I am using 3.26. Any ideas to point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

I just discovered this problem myself on an application today. It is a problem in the underlying DLL, so unfortunately there is no easy work around. The status of the switch is updated internally, but a screen refresh is not triggered. If you minimize, then restore the application, the switch state will show correct.

The problem will be resolved in the next release which is due to be posted within the next couple weeks.
