Advanced HMI Project No Response from PLC
« on: August 31, 2018, 06:49:58 AM »
Hello Everyone
I am trying to test the AdvancedHMI project with Siemens S7 1200 PLC on Modbus TCP. I have inserted a Digital Panel Meter and a Momentary Push Button on the main screen. When started the project the DPM display shows 'No response from PLC(21)'. I attach screen shots to show the settings. Experts please help to resolve the issue  Thanks

Dear Godra
I tried that, but it does not work for me. May be it is very old version of the driver

The logic says that if dumont managed to communicate with S7 1200 then you should be able to do the same.

For your current project, maybe close all other programs which show in your picture and double check all your driver settings.
Then drop a bunch of BasicLabel controls and point them to different registers.
If you still get no response from PLC that would indicate that there is no communication to the PLC at all.
