OPC ACS3 Connection Issue
« on: July 25, 2022, 08:54:21 AM »
I am new to using OPC and Advanced HMI. The current project that I am working on is using OPC, but I need to pulse the data and display/modify it in Advanced HMI. I can view the data using UaExpert. I have attempted to connect using OpcDaCom1. There aren't any errors until I try to output a variable in PLCAddressValue in a normal analog display.

Is there a tutorial, manual, or defined steps that I should be using to connect to OPC?

Thanks in advance!

Is your OPC server a UA or DA? AdvancedHMI only has support for DA.

It is UA. Is there any discussions of supporting UA in the future?

It has been on theto-do  list, but since development has slowed down in the past couple years, I would say it will be a ways out before it would be done.
