GE Fanuc driver question
« on: December 19, 2023, 01:32:20 PM »
Hey guys, first ever post. Ive been using AHMI for quite awhile and love it. Ive got a bit of a conundrum. Im working on a project with mostly rockwell but ive got several GE 90-30 and 90-70 PLC's in the wild that the company is currently using cimplicity, kepware and all kinds of other (pointless to me) middleware. I have a couple makeshift ge drivers ive found on the web but since its proprietary, its a pain, anywho, I know nothing about creating drivers. Is there a way to port a driver from another program, lets say, Proficy, they have one, into AHMI? Not looking for a moral or "Well technically you cant cuz of such and such" , just a way to do this so i can get this daggum Scada system where i want it?

the easiest way to do this would be to add a modbus gateway like this one:
