AdvHMI and Ethernet IP device EDS integration
« on: May 09, 2022, 03:04:07 AM »
Hello,
Help Please.
In AdvHMI drivers list we have EtherNet IP driver for CompactLogix .
Is it possible that we can use to read write a device that has Ethernet IP protocol , its EDS file is available .
For example Keyence LVDT transmitter with EthernetIP port .

Long time back I used RSL5000 , on installing EDS ,it showed up device and we could see its tags .
But not done on AdvancedHMI yet .

Thanks in advance .

The AdvancedHMI driver does not support generic implicit IO. The driver only supports functionality for accessing Tag values in a PLC. You can get some limited data from other devices, but it requires some advanced coding.
