Build into a single exe file instead of a setup file

cant seem to figure out how to build my advance hmi project into a single exe

It's not possible to make a single exe file. It requires all of the files found in AdvancedHMI\bin\Debug or AdvancedHMI\bin\Release

In that directory is a single exe that is used to launch the application, but it requires all of the other support DLL files.

So one click publish will not work with AdvancedHMI Archie? Or Creating an installer?

They will work, but Click Once has some quirks that can get you in trouble and an installer package can get complicated to set up. We encourage this method of deploying because it is simple, complies with licensing, and backs up your project:
