OPCDa Connector

i have a Allen Bradley micrologix 1100 on Ethernet and i have RSlinx Installed on Clients Machine, one question is do i even need rslinx ? i supposing i do since i am  connecting OPC, my OPC Topic is setup in rslinx as RWR  can someone guide me in getting this setup in Advanced HMI  i do have the OPCda Connector on my advanced HMI project

RSLinx is not needed if using the native drivers. The native drivers are simpler and tremendously faster. For the ML1100 you would just add an EthernetIPforSLCMicroCom to the form and set the IP address.

o.k thanks so much , that would lighten the load on cost not having RSLinx Installed at $1,400   :)     thanks
