advanced hmi doesn't run ones built

I am having issues with my advanced hmi buids.......my advanced hmi project works great when I run in it visual studios but when I switch to release and click build advanced hmi and then go into the release folder and try running the exe file nothing opens up.......what could cause this issue? thanks

Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del), check the processes and make sure another instance is not running with hidden forms.

can't see anything......and even after a restart it just doesn't open

What if you reboot? Does it start after a reboot?

nope it does not....

to build the project all I have to do is switch to release and click build advanced hmi right?

No need to switch to Release. Just leave in Debug, then go to \AdvancedHMI\bin\Debug and run the application file.

doesn't open it either way........ ive even tried copying it to a diff computer...still doesn't....... i'm running windows 10 64 bit

No problem. The trick I use to make sure I get to the right place is to right click the AdvancedHMI project in Solution Explorer and select Open Folder in File Explorer
