Libnodave, S7.Net support
« on: October 23, 2018, 11:57:53 AM »
Hello everyone.

This question is in the air for a while. So far there is no Siemens support in AdvancedHMI.
If Libnodave or S7.Net communication libraries are available, what is the chance to integrate them into AdvancedHMI?

Thanks

An adaptation layer (wrapper) could be written, but it will be quite involved. The interface used for AdvancedHMI drivers is a fair amount different than those used in S7.NET and libnodave, especially the subscription mechanism which is rather complex.

I know is not the same, but I use Modbus TCP to communicate AdvancedHMI with Siemens.

Do you have a way to do about these things?
