Using same driver/serial port instances on multiple forms/pages

Hi Guys,
I want to know if it is possible to use only one driver for all forms/pages? i.e. only assign the driver on the first page while the other page will get the driver from the first page.
i found the similar topic here:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12617116/using-same-serial-port-instances-on-multiple-forms
but i'm a rookie so i don't really know how to implement it on vb.net or AHMI (if it is possible).
