Omron NJ series PLC communication problem

I have used AdvancedHMI with great success on AB PLC's but am having issues getting it to work on an Omron NJ501-1300 PLC. When attempting to set up a basic Digital panel meter or indicator button when running the HMI it does not display any data and gives the code/message of "Input string was not in correct format". Please help!

I don't have an NJ processor to test anything. But do they support FINS?

After researching it does seem like this processor supports FINS
