CLogix Tag Format

I am trying the sample app in VB 2010 Express and can't get any data.  I have a VB6 project using TopServer and and an ActiveX control that is working, so I think my problem is in the format of the tag.  I am a VB guy, but the PLC programmer said to try:
PROGRAM:MainProgram.Hot_Oil_Temp_Scaled

However, that did not work either.

Just on an unrelated note, the recommended Visual Studio version is now Community Edition. It has more tools and the licensing is a better fit to an AdvancedHMI application.

Jeez, is it really 20gb of hard drive space for Community Edition?  I was sad about 2013 for desktop's 5gb of hard drive space.

Wow! I never really noticed the growing size was so extensive.I guess all the additional cross platform support added quite a bit.
