No Comm Drivers plus Errors
« on: March 26, 2015, 04:58:52 PM »
I had a nice application running and then accidentally deleted the main form.  After unsuccessfully trying to restore the form, I gave up and started over.  The new project wouldn't create a main form, so I decided to really start over and download a new copy of Advanced HMI.  Started a new project and it loaded with 8 errors and 3 warnings of various infractions.  I have a lot to sort through, but my biggest problem is the Toolbox has no comm drivers at all.  I checked and they all showed up in the unzipped folder, but I can't seem to add them to the toolbox.  I know this is just one of my problems, but if anyone has any ideas, I'm fresh out.  Thanks.  Mike

Please share what version of studio you have. I had similar issues, who resolved by uninstalling and installing back VS.

I agree this does sound like it could be a Visual Studio or .NET install problem. I recommend downloading and installing Visual Studio Community Edition, then try again.
